A combined team of the Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have reportedly arrested and detained the sacked Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura.
Reports say Daura was arrested just shortly after he was sacked by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for “breaching national security.”
News about the termination of Daura’s appointment has sparked sparked wild jubilations at the DSS headquarters, in Abuja.
According to Daily Trust that Daura was ferried away via three Police vans including two Toyota Hilux vehicles and a jeep.
While the State House reporters were awaiting his exit from the office of the Vice President, Daura was taken away via the backdoor, the news platform reports.
